SCORE stands for…

Sharing, Christ, Our, Redeemer, Enterprises.

The CORE of SCORE is Christ our Redeemer

"To glorify God through missions in obedience to the Great Commision."

SCORE began as a sports ministry, but soon expanded to a global missions ministry, and now equips and mobilizes its participants to fulfill the great commission, share God’s love, and offer a short-term missions experience for groups. The mission of SCORE is to evangelize, equip, and encourage the local church and missionaries with training and support.

In the Dominican Republic, SCORE is partnering with the Rawlings Foundation to build and operate a Baseball Academy, Camp, and Bible College. The Rawlings Foundation will build and own a world-class facility that SCORE will help operate and share in the ministry.

Currently, SCORE owns facilities in the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica. It also does extensive ministry in Panama and Argentina. The ministry has plans to expand to other South American countries as well as Europe.

In 2012 SCORE merged with Youth On Mission. Founded in 1991 by Dr. Harry Fowler, Youth On Mission focused on mobilizing and equipping short-term mission teams to serve domestically throughout the U.S. in Appalachia, Inner-Cities and Coastal North Carolina.  Over a period of 20 years Youth On Mission sent over 65,000 people on mission trips!

Youth On Mission has been a partner with SCORE for several years and in 2013 became SCORE Domestic. We are excited to be one as we now take the gospel locally, regionally, and worldwide.

Our obectives are to

  1. Evangelize the lost
  2. Engage people in missions
  3. Equip and train disciples
